Waiting For Ava

“But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.” Habakkuk 2:3

This is Love

We took Georgia yesterday to get fixed. So she was gone all day. Ava kept asking me where Georgia was. I kept telling her that Georgia was at the doctor's. That she was going to be sore when she came home. I told her that Georgia's tummy was going to be really sore and that she needed to be very gentle with Georgia when she came home. Terri took some pics last night and I took some this morning. Ava is such a sensitive little girl. She loves her Georgia so much.

Public Library Party

Terri took Ava to the Public Library yesterday for a kids Halloween party. She took some pics so I thought that we should post them. It is amazing how much having a child changes your life. I say this because it is so nice to see Ava and Terri going out and doing things like this together. I love the two of them so much. Terri is an amazing mom. I feel like I don't give her enough credit for what she does with and for Ava.

Ava's Gymnastics Classes

We now have Ava involved in Gymnastics. She has been going now for a few weeks. Today was her fourth class. She has really opened up. The first couple of classes she wouldn't leave your side or let your hand go. Now she will freely roam the mats and wander off all by herself. It is absolutely wonderful to watch. She surprises us every day.

"Where's picture, Momma"

Ava and Georgia are growing so fast. Georgia is just 8 months and getting so big. We forget sometimes that she is still a pup. Ava is changing and learning so much everyday. It's hard to believe she is the same little girl we brought home last year. She is talking non stop now and is such a parrot. Lately, she will cuddle up with Georgia and say "where's picture, Momma?"
This means get the camera Mom! Of course I oblige!

Ava has started gymnastics this fall. It's a great way for her to learn how to move and balance and she has so much fun. We are also continuing swimming lessons after a break this summer. She is doing well but she is a very strong-willed girl and if she doesn't want to do something she will let you know. Unfortunately, her mother has the same characteristics and we have butted heads often.
Ava still loves her books and is a singer and a dancer.A couple nights ago she had Mike and I up doing the hokey pokey. Glad there were no cameras. No one needs to see that!
We are having so much fun watching her grow into such an amazing little person. I wish we could keep her a baby forever but also are really excited to see the person she is going to be.
