Waiting For Ava

“But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.” Habakkuk 2:3

At Least The CCAA Didn't Shut Down***UPDATE***

The adoption circles thought that China would shut down the CCAA during the Olympics. Thankfully they have not. It looks as though they have sent referrals for two more days. It is only two days but it could have been zero days. When you are in our position meaning people still waiting for their referrals you have look for the positives just about anywhere you can. If we don't we will go crazy waiting for our little precious Ava. We often sit and wonder if she is already born. My wife works for Zellers. They sell Olympic wear. She is going to pick up some Olympic wear for Ava. We thought that it would be nice for Ava to have some Olympic wear from the year that her birth country held the Olympics and maybe the year that she was born.

Children's Bridge has stated that the CCAA has referred up until January 31st. That's 6 days instead of the 2 we previously posted. We also have to add that the Chinese New Year of 2006 fell in this period and the CCAA was closed for a week but who cares we are 6 LID's instead of 2 LID's closer to our turn! Yahoo!!! Small celebrations get us through:o)
