Waiting For Ava

“But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.” Habakkuk 2:3

Peking Duck Dinner

We just got back from our Peking Duck dinner. It was delicious. The duck tasted very gamy. We weren't fans of that but the rest was very good. The Kung Pao Chicken was very tasty but also very spicy. Terri actually ate a little bit of the seafood rice before she found out what it actually was. The Ducks head was on the platter. It was odd to see it there but also funny.

It's the chinese way, to serve the entire bird, duck, pig, etc. There is a meaning in serving it whole. and also where the head of the dish is, is also significant, it means the head of the table or "the boss"
