Waiting For Ava

“But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.” Habakkuk 2:3

Wonderful little family

We are truly in love with this amazing little girl. She shows more and more of her personality everyday. She is so funny and fearless.

She is wearing size 9 mos right now. She can fit a 6 mos. but won't for long the way she eats.

Mike is really a wonderful man and father. He treats me like gold and Ava has her daddy wrapped around her little finger already.

I feel so lucky to have this wonderful little family and such a great family waiting for us. We couldn't ask for anything more.

We will definitely keep the blog going. I love that she will have a journal of her life and maybe when she gets old enough she can continue it from her point of view. It has been allot of fun and a really good outlet she we are feeling frustrated or celebratory. We have had so much support from family and friends and strangers that have found us over the internet. What an amazing age we live in.

Don't you find it amazing how well the CCAA matches the perfect child for the perfect family? We waited a long time for our son but any change in the path along the way wouldn't have brought us the most amazing son. I'm so happy for your family. Trust me it just gets better and better every day.

Congrats and it looks like you are having an amazing time!

Just a little FYI...the ergo was not designed for the baby to face out. Your little one really needs to see your face, learn your smell and heart. Try her in the hip carry if she is having a hard time being sooo close.
