Waiting For Ava

“But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.” Habakkuk 2:3

While We Wait

While we've been waiting for any kind of progress on the adoption front we thought that we would sign up to the Christian Children's Foundation. We got the child's picture on Friday in the mail. We are now the proud sponsors of a little girl by the name of Hellen Yesenia Hernandez Zamora. She is from Nicaragua. She is seven years old and in grade three. She likes drawing colouring and singing. Through our sponsorship Helen will have the opportunity to continue her education and get proper nutrition and will also help her entire family. Her dad is a brick layer and her mom is a sales clerk. Hellen also has a brother. We plan on starting to write her letters to learn more about her and her family. We hope with our sponsorship we can help better her families life.
