Waiting For Ava

“But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.” Habakkuk 2:3

I'm sitting here working on our blog. Thought that I would add a link to our blog so that people could go see our group that we will be travelling with to China. There are ten families in our group including us. We can't wait to meet them all.

We've been trying to keep busy by decorating Ava's room for her. We painted a mural on one wall. We bought a crib for her and set it up. Terri found a web site where you can put in your childs name in english and it will come back with the name in Mandarin. So we painted that over her crib. We also found a web site that shows you the top ten lucky symbols in the Mandarin language. So we painted those as a border around the room.
We went on a trip in April to Florida. Terri found a blanket and a couple of wall hangings to put up in Ava's room. It looks great.

Time has actually gone bye farely quickly this year. We thought that the wait this year would have gone bye a-lot slower. We've been doing some things to the house before we go to get Ava. We have put on a new roof and got our lane way paved. Hopefully time keeps going bye quickly for us. We keep checking out the Children's Bridge web site for the referral waiting times. If we are correct we should be going to get Ava about this time next year. It can't get here quick enough.
